The Tarafsartaj Shanti Sangha (TSS), which has just completed its 37 years of existence in Bangladesh and its multi-dimensional project activities, has covered reaching out poverty in the working areas. The organization is now focusing on helping the poor to enhance their skills & capacity by providing necessary inputs and services specially on health, education, microfinance, climate change resilience building and technical knowhow so that they can increase their income, wages and protect them in respect of economic, social and human development with sustainability.

It’s my great pleasure to inform you that TSS has completed another successful year of 2022-2023 in its development endeavors. The organization has been implementing diverse activities including Microfinance, Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries, Education, Food Security, Healthcare, Green Energy through installing Solar Home System & Improve Cook Stoves (ICS) and WASH Program etc. TSS believes that family is the main centre of all socio-economic development and accordingly has designed its activities focusing on the family’s development through involving them in groups, utilization of local resources, providing skill development training, necessary support and financial services.  Realizing the need to complement the existing poverty reduction by the government through SDGs by 2030, TSS has been playing its facilitating role to accomplish the goals through different development interventions with community participation targeting ultra poor and poor communities.

I recall with admiration the partners, Government of South Asia Partnership of Bangladesh (SAP), EPIX, Oxfam Bangladesh, APHD-(Caritas Hong Kong), Palli-Karma Sahayak Foundation (PKSF), Bangladesh Bank, Bureau of Non-Formal Education (BNFE), Reaching Out-of School Children (ROSC), Gram Unnayan Karma (GUK) and all other well-wishers for their continued supporting role, guidance, technical assistance and cooperation to achieve the objectives of the organization.

I acknowledge with gratitude for the generous contribution and sincere support of members of the General Committee, Executive Committee and Advisory committee, learned Consultants and all other officials/staffs in the smooth running and execution process of all development project/program activities towards alleviation of poverty in the society.

I look forward to working together to realize our cherished objectives in the years ahead.
